What do I do?
Some days we have sessions with the Pastors and other days we have time to work on Bible School assignments, our MiXchange websites or even have time foot in the message. Praise the Lord for that!
Many people ask what exactly it is we do here at the office so here it is. After morning conditioning (exercise) when we arrive at the office at 09:15 we have staff prayer. Most of the time Tarryn, one of our team leaders, leads us in prayer. Sometimes we have the honour of having Pastor Garth or Pastor Christi leading us in prayer and even teaching us in one area or another. After prayer it is usually about 10:00 and we just have quick meeting discussing the flow for the day. After that we have a quick coffee and head to our desks.
Depending on the day I am sometimes involved in packing Bible School classrooms or the aditorium. I am also involved in the off-site storage unit cataloging, signing in and out of stock, as well as doing some admin such as Slipstream data capturing, cataloging camping supplies and office cleaning sheets. What is wonderful is that we get many opporunities to grow in various areas so no day actually ever looks the same.
We have lunch at 12:00 and every lunch is different because I get to interact with different people everyday. We usually leave at 16:00 and depending on the day I either rush home to eat dinner before Bible School or Prayer Connect at 18:00, or I go home and enjoy a nice evening with my parents.
